MARATHON MONDAY!!!
Jake and I joined Rachel and Alex for a great engagement shoot in Boston on Monday. When we looked at the weather and suggested the date, I had no idea that it was the day of the Boston Marathon. For those of you who don’t live in the area, you might not realize that this is a full-fledged holiday for Boston. The streets were filled with people cheering on the runners and the weather was perfect for everyone to be out and about. Perhaps it was a bit to hot for the runners topping out at an amazing 97 degrees! But, it was fantastic for our photo shoot. April can be a bit on the cooler side, but we all lucked out with the day.
I thought I would recap a bit of the photography marathon that we did with this adorable couple. The photos look fantastic, and they were great subjects. Rachel and Alex seemed comfortable behind the camera from the first moment we started shooting. They live in a nice residential area of Boston with some very pretty parks that we took advantage of. In the last week the trees have really begun to bloom and the colors have brightened bringing spring to life. They are only a couple blocks from Boston University and the bridge to Cambridge, so we pounded the pavement for some great shots through out the city to give them a photo documentary portrayal of life around their home. The lighting and locations were great. We had plenty of laughs and fun along the way. We hope you enjoy the photos and checking out our personal Marathon Monday. Rachel and Alex, we had a blast, and we can’t wait for the wedding. We had a wonderful time hanging out with both of you.
